Training Should Feel Good
Love Your Dog is committed to using humane, force-free, and fear-free methods in working with animals. When you work with me, I bring my education and certification in canine training and behavior with Catch Canine Trainers Academy, and my education and training as a Certified Tellington TTouch® Practitioner. By offering these respectful training methods and techniques from both areas of study and experience, I can help teach dogs and the people who love them how to learn together, while enriching their relationship.
I do not use controlling methods or aversive approaches in my training. I believe with knowledge, compassionate leadership, and respect, we can influence our dogs to make good choices with positive methods that are productive and healthy. With positive methods in place, along with good management and protocols, we can live our lives with our dogs in a way that is balanced, safe, and meaningful, as we learn and grow together.
Always take time to look into the methods dog trainers use, as well as their education and credentials before you hire anyone to work with you and your dog. The dog training industry does not have regulations that require an education in dog training, or credentials, to operate a business as a dog trainer. It is worth the initial investment of time to assure that the training you sign up for feels good!
