OAKLEY, SHELLY AND PORTER
We hired Jane to help us train our 6 month old Boston Terrier, Oakley. Jane was great to work with. She has a fun style that focuses on positive reinforcement along with deflection in another direction to turn around unwanted behavior. She was also very good at training the trainers which is an important key to successfully bonding and training with your dog. If you have a young puppy or an older dog or rescue with traits you would like to change, we fully recommend Jane Tobler at Love Your Dog LLC to help you. CALLIE, H.E. AND CAROLYN
We found Jane’s knowledge, professionalism and friendly demeanor really helped us to understand and work with our new high energy and somewhat fearful dog, Callie.
She has come a long way in 2 plus months.
Thank you, Jane!

RUNA AND CARLY
Jane Tobler at Love Your Dog is the best of the best -- I truly can't say enough. We rescued a pup that was timid and jumpy, and Jane worked with us with intentionality, compassion, and insight. She helped us understand our dog through positive reinforcement and leadership. She not only transformed our puppy, but also transformed our relationship and confidence with our dog. She is a true professional, and a pleasure to work with!

LUCY AND VERONICA
I would say I'm experienced with having pups around, but when I got my blue heeler puppy, Lucy, I had no idea what to do! She was so different from the pups I had ever had, and I needed help. I reached out to Jane, and she was nothing but amazing, patient, and encouraging. With every session, I saw progress and growth. I learned how to distract Lucy from moving objects on walks like scooters or even people running while on our walks, and I learned the importance of loose leash walking. Blue heelers can be a lot to handle, which I knew going into it, but Jane's techniques and patience taught me new tips and tricks that I have implemented into my everyday life with Lucy. My favorite part of each session, aside from learning how to train and teach Lucy, were the insights that Jane had about what we were practicing and everything and anything related. I cannot thank Jane enough for the love, light, and positivity she brought into these sessions. Jane's kind soul and gentle touch approach is one thing I'll cherish forever. Not to mention, Jane's communication is fantastic, which is something I appreciate a tremendous amount. If anyone I know is ever in need of a trainer, Jane will be the first person I recommend! Please, if you're considering training your dog and you're looking into Jane's work, I highly recommend that you hire her to help you out with any pup you may have!
Thanks again, Jane, for your help! Lots of love from your friend with a spot on her head, and her mama... Lucy, and Veronica.

EMMA, GRETTA, CHARLEY
BETH AND RICH
Jane worked with us to address issues with our 3 complicated rescue dogs; Charley (6 y/o) lived in a shelter for 2 years, Emma (2 y/o) was a puppy mill dog so never socialized with humans and Gretta (1 y/o) a terrier mix, very smart and pig headed. We are amazed with the progress made by all 3 dogs. More amazed Jane was able to help us understand it was my husband and I that needed training. We were unintentionally communicating confusing signals to the dogs. We told Jane we had little expectations for Charley, but we were so wrong! He loves to participate in our classes. We also told Jane we doubted Emma would ever come or sit, within 3 lessons she does both.... she is a new dog:). What we thought was a stubborn streak in Gretta was just a need to be challenged, she loves training sessions too.
Jane is compassionate, understanding and patient with both 2 legged and 4 legged creatures. She is a true dog whisperer.

DOCK, ERIN AND BEN
We are so lucky we found Jane! We needed some help transitioning a new dog into our home (where a dog and cat were already living) and Jane was able to make time for us immediately. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and we quickly saw results. In addition to the in-person sessions she provided us with a wealth of information and tools to continue the progress we established with her guidance. Thank you Jane!

REGGIE AND HOLLY
I hired Jane to help me with a 5-month-old rescue terrier mix. His first owners didn’t vaccinate him and did little in the way of training. We started lessons in my house and worked up to taking him to the town park and in dog-friendly businesses. Her calm, gentle manner immediately drew even my skittish adult standard poodle to her. I immediately saw results with my puppy with Tellington Touch wraps and touches. He easily learned commands and learned to enjoy being petted. Jane’s manner is calm and steady. Her variety of training activities and tools is impressive. I would highly recommend working with Jane to anyone. I can’t imagine a dog she could not work with.

VEDA AND JOYCE
I recently adopted a wonderful dog from a reservation. Once she was able to wean her pups
and be spayed she was ready to find her forever home! Veda was very thin and weak and had
some anxieties about the leash and various other situations. Jane from Love your Dog was
recommended to me by a friend since this was my first adult rescue. Jane was able to get
started with us the very first week!
From the very first session with Jane we knew she would be a great support toward Veda’s and
my adjustment to both of our new lives!
I got lucky with Veda that she was already a very sweet dog. My biggest concern was that Veda
would not allow you to put on a harness and a leash. Jane worked with us and guided me on
routines and rewards for Veda. It was advised by Jane that Veda would be most successful with
a TTouch harness that we absolutely love. It wasn’t long after I established a routine with Veda,
per Jane’s guidance, that Veda would come running when she saw me take out the harness!
I signed up for 5 sessions and Jane always came prepared with great advice, demonstrations of
TTouches and wraps and how to work with Veda on new commands. It was just the right
amount of ‘homework’ each week!
When Jane arrived each week Veda greeted her with such excitement! I could see Veda relax
and enjoy her company and especially her TTouches!
Jane taught me ways to work with Veda that were different from traditional dog training that I
had known for years. I never knew about the various ways a dog communicates and Jane
helped me begin a better understanding of what Veda was trying to tell me! She helped me to
trust my gut feeling when working with Veda. Jane also guided me toward some resources that I
could explore to further my understanding.
It is very clear that Jane is knowledgeable and well educated in her field. There is no doubt that
she is an avid dog lover and working with dogs and their owners is her passion.

BRYNNA AND JOHN
I asked Jane to help me with my rescue pup, Brynna. She was a survivor of Hurricane Harvey, and as far as I could tell had never been socialized. She was always on the alert, reacting to any sound, or movement. She and I had been together for two years and I felt it was time to up my game, with the hope that someday she could travel with me to dog parks and fishing trips.
Jane's approach to training was very much in tune with the specific needs of my dog, Brynna. I could see her responding to Jane right away. We started with basic commands; come, sit, lie down, follow. Over time Brynna became more comfortable around other people and situations. Instead of running for cover, she now sits quietly by my side, looking bored, until it’s time to move on. I've still got a ways to go before I'll be able to pack her into the car for a road trip, but the journey of a thousand miles always starts with a single step, and if you ask me; our journey has begun.
Thank you, Jane, for giving us the road map we needed and helping us make our first step.
Sincerely,
John

WALTER AND LISA
I am not someone who would ever call a dog trainer. I have had dogs all my life and have done quite well, thank you. But then I got Walter, Worst Dog Ever. At my wit’s end, I phoned Love Your Dog for help. Jane was a godsend. She calmly worked with us. She taught me dog language that I did not know existed. We learned games that Walter never realized was training in disguise. We are now a working team as well as a work in progress, but thanks to Jane we are both learning and enjoying the process.
Thank you, Jane!

BUSTER AND BONNIE
My dog Buster and I have been working with Jane over a year. Buster is a rescue and a difficult pup with a bad start to life. He is afraid and fearful. Jane has helped Buster gain confidence and improve his ability to deal with his fears.
I choose Jane as a trainer for many reasons. First, dogs are her passion. She has owned many dogs over her life and when she talks about them you can tell how much she cared for each one. She is also a perpetual student of dog behavior - always taking classes and learning new techniques. Jane is kind and gentle with Buster while at the same time teaching him focus and self-control. She never quits thinking about how to help Buster. Many times in follow up sessions she will talk about all the thoughts she had about Buster since the previous session. Jane was also able to connect with Buster early in his training. He does not like many people but is always excited to see Jane.
In addition to helping Buster, Jane has also helped me become a better dog owner. She’s been great changing my habits so that I am a better Mom to my pup.
I would highly recommend Jane as a very qualified dog trainer for both your pup and you.
